ELI is becoming one of the leading iTV platform operators in German-speaking countries, involved in realising and marketing interactive applications that run over digital television distribution networks. The major focus is on live sports betting on TV. To this end, a joint venture is being established, in which a state betting provider, a television station and an engineering/manufacturing company for set-top boxes will participate.


In addition to being able to place live sports bets during a live television broadcast, entire gaming portals can be provided using Advanced Teletext technology, which is expected to result in a considerable amount of additional revenue from existing customers.


The betting provider contributes the betting license, bookmaking expertise, knowledge of odds and risk management, investment capacity as well as a strong position in the conventional betting and gaming market. ELI supplies the iTV Live betting application, assumes responsibility for project management during installation, system integration and operations, and handles technical matters involved in keeping accounts, billing and customer management.
